Maine, Acadia National Park "Blows"

Day 6 out of 10 of our RV adventure, we woke up at Bar Harbor Campground in Maine.  We prepared for a day's hike at Acadia National Park.  We were captivated by the panoramic views.  It was a rugged hike and I was thankful for my walking stick as I climbed huge boulders.  On this hike, the red squirrel and I took a moment to appreciate each other.  Such a bonding moment.  The camera just doesn't do justice to the views.  These views need to be on your bucket list.  We were aw-struck at the giant blow hole at the park.  To watch the water go in and out, splash and I often felt mesmerized by waiting to be splashed.  The sandy beaches, the views of dolphins jumping and surrounded by nature...what more could you ask for!

Oh, don't forget to check out the town of Bar Harbor in Maine.  It's a quaint little town on the water with shops and many restaurants to choose from.  We highly recommend the early bird lobster special at Galyn's.  We like to find art from local artists and found a beautiful picture to remind us of where we have been.  Our house is filled with places we have traveled over the years.

This was a long day and today I feel old!  All that climbing and hiking has taken a toll on my osteoarthritis knees and joints.  I got some relief taking a copaiba softgel, turmeric supplement and placing some deep blue lotion on my knees. The copaiba helps with pain, turmeric with inflammation and deep blue eased the pain and swelling in my knees.  I am so thankful I was equipped and empowered to receive relief so we could continue our journey!
